My Art Sales and Search for Angel Investment
Ladies and gentlemen:If there is an invisible superpower higher than you (yes, there is, such as air, sun, water, these substances are essentially from the Creator, right?), if you introduce yourself to the higher divine power and energy, what would you say?What should I say here? My name is Carl J Chen(Yes Chan), a dreamer, a life artist, a guy who dreams of promoting spiritual awakening of mankind and reducing human wars. Does this sound a little crazy?
Many people in the world have some crazy ideas, but only a small number of people put them into practice, and only a few people follow the calling of their hearts. These people are scientists, artists, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists. Of course, there are also some terrible bad people in this category, but today we only talk about good people and good deeds, we talk about the power of charity and the power of change.
When I was 15, I decided between suicide and escaping from the Communist school. I was born in China, and I have witnessed enough lies, absurdity and violence under tyranny, as well as the complex national character under a dictatorship.
Before moving to the United States, I read a lot of political books. I used to agree with the theorists that everything needs a good system. I used to hope that China and even the whole of Asia would adopt the American system.
But when I actually lived in the United States, I realized that democracy and freedom are not as simple as theorists imagined. I realized that many times, society is determined by social culture. Social culture is group consciousness and group unconsciousness.
Many bad societies in the world, the root of the problem is not the law, but the social culture; those bad countries have perfect laws, but it is meaningless: unless they realize that they must change their culture.
So, I turned my attention to Carl Jung. I think Carl Jung is the answer to most of the disagreements and wars in the world. Usually those bad social cultures, those blind group behaviors, are what Jung talked about as group unconsciousness. Many societies indulge in meaningless struggles, even if they suffer from hunger and extreme poverty. They create endless suffering. Why don't they let go, respect others, and liberate themselves? And then move towards peace and development! Do they have resentment for happiness? ! Because they, their unconscious group unconsciousness, are like a blindly running machine.
When I was about 18 years old, I worked for a Taiwanese sales company in Dongguan, China. The job was to call Chinese Americans to sell satellite TV. I met a girl from Guangdong on the phone line. One time, she told me that she was on her way from Dallas to Chicago with her friends. At that time, I had no idea about Dallas and Chicago. 10 years later, I came to Chicago, so I really believe that there is a higher power than me that pushed me to the United States.
I always think about how I can give back to the United States, the country that gave me a second life. There are many differences in the world, and the forces of good and evil are always competing. Democracy and individual freedom are an eternal cause.
Becoming an artist, an entrepreneur, listening to the call of my heart, and moving towards my charity project-Carl Jung Station, this is what I want to do. I believe that Carl Jung's research, as well as psychology and mysticism, will greatly reduce human differences and meaningless politics.
